The following events will be held from March 23 to March 29, 2015. [Lecture] Tatsuo Majima “A Kind of Contemporaneity/A Kind of Complicity: 2015-03-29 13:00–13:15”

[Workshops] Cai Guo-Qiang “Children Da Vincis” Project
“What’s important isn’t whether you can fly.” —Cai Guo-Qiang
Children will be invited to set their imaginations free and create objects using everyday materials that will be included in Cai Guo-Qiang’s installation at Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art.
Every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday between March 8 and April 26, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Venue: Main gallery, Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art
For ages 5 to 10; must be accompanied by guardian (adult participation is limited to observation only)

Lisa Anne Auerbach American Megazine: Mega-Girls
A pair of “mega-girls” wearing knitted sashes by Lisa Anne Auerbach will be turning the pages of American Megazine #1 and American Megazine #2 every weekend starting from March 22.
Dates: Every Saturday and Sunday from March 22 to May 10 at 1:30–2:00 PM and 3:30–4:00 PM

Sherpa Tours
These unique tours are planned by the Parasophia Volunteers to share different ways to enjoy the exhibition. Details will be announced at the Volunteers desk at Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art and on the Parasophia Volunteer Center’s website (paravol.jp/en).
Every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday between March 14 and May 10, 2:00 PM– (40–60 min.)
* Sign up to participate starting from 1:00 PM on the day of the tour.

● Sherpas (volunteer mediators) are always available throughout the exhibition space to answer questions or take part in discussions about any particular artwork.

Extended hours at Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art
Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art’s hours will be extended until 7:00 PM (last admission at 6:30 PM) from March 27 to April 12 and from April 29 to May 10.

* Reservation not required unless otherwise specified; seats available on first-come, first-served basis on the day of each event. Admission is free unless otherwise noted. Parasophia ticket may be required for events held in the exhibition space.
* All events are held in Japanese unless indicated otherwise.
* All events are presented by the Kyoto International Festival of Contemporary Culture Organizing Committee, Kyoto Association of Corporate Executives (Kyoto Keizai Doyukai), Kyoto Prefecture, and Kyoto City unless indicated otherwise.
